Consultant Nephrologist
Roles and responsibilities are: – Evaluate, diagnose, manage and treat a spectrum of kidney-related disorders, offer hemodialysis, dialysis, renal biopsies, post-surgical care of patients who have recently had a kidney transplant, and they also work alongside primary care physicians to determine the best method of care for kidney patients with comorbidities.
Need to counsel and educate kidney patients about there disease and prevention.
Education: DM Qualified OR DNB Qualified in Nephrology from a reputed hospital
